'Needtobreath', as a rock band, were formed in 1998, with the singer-songwriter, Bear Reinhart being the lead singer. Up until Rinehart broke away from the band in 2019, the band had released 10 studio albums and was awarded a Grammy Award in 2015. In 2019, Bear Rinehart began the rock band, 'Wilder Woods', around himself as lead singer. With a few short tours in America, they were soon shut down by the COVID pandemic. This did not stop them, as they made full use of this time to write music, and soon after Covid, they began touring in support of their new compilations in 2022 / 2023. They have since released 5 studio albums from the material garnered during the shutdown. Also, in the short time since the band began, they have created quite a dedicated following and fan base.
