After touring with 49 Winchester, being part of the Acoustic Nights Tour with Drayton Farley and Noah Taylor, opening for Bruce Springsteen and Ed Sheeran, and performing at the Railbird Festival 2024, country prodigy Sam Barber is finally heading out on his own for his first ever headlining tour. The 'Straight and Narrow' singer-songwriter has announced 30 dates across the United States for the 'Till I Return' Tour. His iconic booming vocals are coming your way at Nashville, to perform at Ryman Auditorium on October 4th, 8PM with guest artist Hans Williams.
“I’m looking forward to meeting more fans, and pushing my career,” Barber expresses his feelings about the tour. “Playing live is one of the coolest things. It’s a feeling you can’t really replicate or explain, but being on stage with a crowd screaming back to you your own music is a feeling that will definitely never get old.
The burgeoning country artist has a 'Million Eyes' on him now, the foundation of why he wrote his debut EP's title track. Sam Barber grew up in a farming family in Missouri with a passion for athletics and his path changed at age 16, when he started fooling around with his great grandfather's guitar. He soon developed his style---plain-spoken rooted in vintage folk and country sounds. You might have heard his original songs like the harrowing "Run Away High," or "Ramblin' Man" and "As Time Passes." Or you might have seen him in American Idol back in 2022. But Barber, who is named as October Rookie of the Month by Billboard, is best known for his RIAA Platinum-certified signature song "Straight and Narrow" which hit global charts in UK, Australia, Ireland, Canada, and more.
Experience his rough, elemental style that will feature the hits that catapulted him to fame and tracks from his debut EP, 'Million Eyes' which cracked the Top 40 of the Top Country Albums chart. Sing along to his fresh singles such as 'S.O.B.' and 'Streetlight' which were released earlier this year. To open up the show is Norwich-born singer-songwriter Hans Williams. Get a taste of his songs such as 'All Is Well,' 'Checklist,' and 'Body On My Shoulders' that masterfully blends folk influences with stripped back instrumentals and contemplative lyrics.
