Ryman Auditorium
Sing cheers to ten years on October 20 as Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit close their 10th Ryman Auditorium residency with special guest Kim Richey! The annual landmark series is an affair in eight nights, featuring sets that shaped the alternative country scene with gritty Southern Rock-inspired Americana anthems.
Isbell, six-time Grammy Award winner and Country Music Hall of Famer, will front the production following a sold-out string of shows through North America, joined by his long-time supporting band, The 400 Unit. Catch the residency’s spotlit finale this Sunday, set to the cascading backdrop of Weathervane, a chronicle of beautifully heart-rending songs, such as “When We Were Close,” “Death Wish,” and fans’ choice “King of Oklahoma.”
As they highlight Billboard Top 10 albums, Reunion and The Nashville Sound, plus singles “If We Were Vampires” and “Alabama Pines,” Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit will reveal to you sounds of the soul unspoken, untethered. Seats? Click through the link above!

Ryman Auditorium
A legacy-defining series shared by a celebrated Americana icon and Nashville’s finest stage will reach its cathartic conclusion on the 20th of October. Joined by songsmith Kim Richey, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit will wrap up their tenth annual residency at the distinguished Ryman Auditorium after seven nights of invigorating music. Don’t miss the send-off. Bring your friends to an acoustic experience that continues to define alternative country tunes.
Isbell and company toured extensively through the first quarters of 2024, debuting in NYC’s Radio City Music Hall and filling out seats in several more sites across the States. When fall came around, we welcomed a tradition that made a lasting mark in the annals of Music City history. Winner of six Grammy Awards, including three for Best Americana Album, Jason Isbell is a tour-de-force act that will flush the “Mother Church” full of sounds strummed from the strings and soul. The 400 Unit’s Derry deBorja, Anna Butterss, Chad Gamble, Will Johnson, and Sadler Vaden will join the vocalist in main performances that bear familiar sets from their Southeastern Records recent album, Live from the Ryman Vol. 2.
The electrified excitement in the air is palpable as we look forward to another round with the critically acclaimed Weathervane LP. Dubbed Jason Isbell’s “brutally beautiful songwriting peak” by Rolling Stone, this record presents Grammy-caliber songs to wring your heart to. In “Miles,” they chronicle the best-intentioned dynamics of family dysfunction. “Death Wish” is slow-burn seduction. “When We Were Close,” a guilty grief.
Elaborate symphonies by The 400 Unit, which carry Southern grit and classic roots rock rhythm, will extend to prior projects as well, from the understated Georgia Blue to four-time Billboard genre chart-toppers Reunion and The Nashville Sound. On that front, you can anticipate unanimous hits in the vein of “If We Were Vampires,” “Alabama Pines,” “Only Children,” and “Last of My Kind.” Kim Richey of roots-pop renown will cap off the Ryman residency’s nightly guest lineup of music’s most underrated women, sharing classic country and contemporary folk wisdom in her beloved singles “Chase Wild Horses,” “Every River,” and “Floating On The Surface.”
Our venue hardly needs an introduction. A well-preserved landmark honored by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Ryman Auditorium pledges a stage where music attains its fullest potential through grand feats of acoustic engineering. Words fail to describe the ambiance inside its mythical walls, so best experience it yourself by claiming your tickets to Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit’s closing concert this Sunday, October 20, 2024!
